Simple Quality Rating (for products/services)
Use a short descriptive scale:
- Excellent – No defects, top performance, premium finish
- Good – Minor imperfections, performs well
- Average – Noticeable issues but acceptable
- Poor – Significant defects, below expectations
You can put this in a dropdown list using Data Validation in Excel.
2. Detailed Quality Description (Text Field)
If you need more explanation, use a structured sentence format:
Example:
“Board quality is excellent with smooth finish, strong fiberglass layering, and no visible cracks. Suitable for high-performance surfing.”
Or shorter:
“Good build quality, minor surface scratches, structurally sound.”
3. Scoring System (Numeric + Description)
Combine numbers with meaning:
